Canada DE Scholarship Competition for International Students, 2018-2019

Each year the Government of Canada offer doctoral in the natural sciences, mathematics and applied science theatre of operations for International students. International students except Canada can apply for these eruditeness . Doctoral research scholarships program for foreign students (DE ) aimed at foreign students who had been pre selected by a Québec university and who wish to carry out their doctoral subject field in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering force field .
 The Doctoral Research Scholarships Program for Foreign Students (DE) of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et engineering (FRQNT) aims to stimulate international student’s interest in beginning or pursuing doctoral studies in Québec and provide financial support to leading international PH .D. candidates in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering fields. Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria by the competition deadline on November 1, 2017.

Requirements:
Scholarships are available to pursue doctoral studies in by the university.in the natural sciences, mathematics & engineering fields.
 To be eligible, applicants should specialize in following fields:

1.  Aerospace
2.  Information and communication technologies
3.  Health technologies
4.  Genomics
5.  Nanotechnologies

Note: The FRQNT board of directors reserves the right to make modifications in value of scholarships at  any time, without  any notice.

Scholarship Benefits: 

Its contains following benefits:

The maximum annual grant for doctoral for international students is 21 000 $.
Within the eligibility period of 12 semesters or  48 months:

1. scholarship holder may receivenmaximum of 12 installments for a total of 84 000 $. 
2. Each payment up to 7000 $ covers period of 4  months or 1 semester. 
3. The 11^th and 12^th installments are always conditional on the initial  submission of  thesis before the end of the 12^th financed  semester.

Eligibility Criteria: 

 The candidate will be selected on the basis following criteria:

•  Must preselected by Québec university by  22 September , 2017.
•  Not have obtained a Merit Scholarship for Foreign Students from the Ministère de l’Education.
•  Not be Canadian citizen/permanent resident of Canada.
•  Not submitted an application for PR under Canadian  immigration laws.

In addition aforementioned criteria, applicants should not cross restrictions and administrative prerequisites given on official website


English Language Requirements: Applicants outside Canada need to meet specific English language/other language requirements.
 
International Scholarships

Submitting the required documents: 

• The candidate must send the electronic form to the FRQNT before deadline: November 1^st, 2017.
•  applicant’s responsibility is to ensure attached documents in PDF form.
• The candidate should ensure referees send the letters of reference before competition deadline.

Last date:The form must be submitted electronically at or before September 22, 2017 at 4 PM. The candidate must send the electronic form to FRQNT before the competition deadline: November 1, 2017.
